Removing and Replacing the Display Command PCB
Switch off the Clearway 2 and disconnect the AC mains supply.
Follow the instruction on how to open the case.
To remove the Display PCB, first remove the communications board.
Disconnect the electrical connections to the front panel CON 1, CON 2 and
CON 3. Loosen and remove the 5 x fixing screws. Lift the PCB out of the
case.
To replace the Display PCB, Align the PCB over the fixing holes. Fit and
tighten the 5 x screws. Connect Display connector to CON1, Front switch to
CON 2 and touchpanel to CON 3. Fit Comms assembly and connect to CON
4.
Removing and Replacing the Blower
Switch off the Clearway 2 and disconnect the AC mains supply.
Follow the instructions on how to open the case.
NOTE: Removing the valve assembly makes access to the blower jacket
easier.
To remove the Blower, place the Clearway 2 on is back. Disconnect the
blower electrical connector PL1.
Open the silicone blower ‘jacket’ by releasing the securing strap from the left-
hand side and pulling out the two lugs on the right-hand side. The jacket is
hinged on the left-hand side. When the silicone jacket is open, remove the
blower.
To replace the Blower, Fit the new blower into the silicone jacket. Ensure
the blower outlets fit to the silicone parts securely. Push the silicone ‘pins’
through the corresponding holes and secure the silicone strap over the blower.
