Make sure documents with ink or correction fluid are completely dry.
a Set up the machine (see Set Up the Machine on page 32).
b Adjust the Document Guides (1) to fit the width of your document.
c Place your document, face down and short side first in the document feeder between the Guides until
you feel it touch the inside of the machine.
NOTE
Do not insert a business card into the Card Slot located at the back of the machine.
