Engine Compartment
FIG. 34: Raise hood pull slowly outward on plastic latch
(1). This will allow you to release rubber strap (2) from
hood. Release plastic latches and rubber straps on other
side of machine.
Use handle (3) to raise hood.
Location of Guards
Left and Right side guards
Move machine to a smooth horizontal location.
Lower all implements to ground and lower three-point
hitch to ground.
Make sure that transmission control lever is in park
position.
Stop engine and remove key.
FIG. 35: Remove following guards to gain access to
modular fuel tanks:
Remove five bolts and washers to remove guard (1).
Remove five bolts and washers to remove guard (2).
Remove eight bolts and washers guard (3).
Install guards in reverse order they were removed.
FIG. 36: Remove following guards listed to gain access
to left side of transmission housing.
Remove five bolts and washers to remove guard (1).
Remove four bolts and washers to remove guard (2).
Remove four bolts and washers to remove guard (3).
Remove four bolts and washers to remove guard (4).
Remove four bolts and washers to remove guard (5).
Remove four bolts and washers to remove guard (6).
Install guards in reverse order they were removed.
