Place the upper end of the prop rod
in the hole on the left underside of
the hood.
To prevent possible damage to the
hood observe the following:
Before closing the hood, make sure
to stow the prop rod in its proper lo-
cation.
Do not slam the hood to close it. Use
a firm downward push at the center of
the hood to ensure that both the pri-
mary and secondary latches engage.
CAUTION!
To prevent possible damage, do not
slam the hood to close it. Lower the
hood until it is open approximately 20
cm and then drop it. This should se-
cure both latches. Never drive your ve-
hicle unless the hood is fully closed,
with both latches engaged.
WARNING!
If the hood is not fully latched it could
fly up when the vehicle is moving and
block your forward vision. You could
have a collision. Be sure all hood
latches are fully latched before driv-
ing.
