engine

starter
is
inoperative in

since a safety switch

provided to prevent
starting
the engine with
the

warm

in
summer

it

generally necessary to use

choke

extremely cold
weather

should be pulled all the way out.

Hold
accelerator pedal
down
halfway
and
turn
key
starter
to
START
(
fig
. 10). Release as soon as engine
starts. Key
starter
will
automatically
return
to
ON.
NOTE:
Do
oot
pump
tbe accelerator pedal before
or
during
the
use
of
the
starter
as this will
cause
difficult
slarting
.
