FRONT
SUSPENSION
The
front wheels on the Corvette are independently sprung
by the S.L.A. (short
and
long arms) method.
This
desi~n
allows the wheel to
move
up
or down independently in
following
irregularities
of
the
road, result.ing in a minimum
of
tire wear
due
to scrubbing
of
tires against road surface.
