Using Cisco WebDialer
Cisco WebDialer allows you to make calls on your Cisco Unified IP Phone to directory contacts by
clicking on items in a web browser. Your system administrator must configure this feature for you.
Change the ring pattern 1. Select a device.
2. Click Line Settings.
3. Click Find to search for your phone.
4. In the Ring Settings area, choose settings to tell your phone how to
indicate an incoming call.
5. Click Save.
Note
The “idle” ring setting pertains if you receive an incoming call when the
phone is idle. The “consecutive” ring setting pertains if you receive an
incoming call when the phone is active.
Change or create a line
text label that appears
on your phone screen
1. Select a device.
2. Click Line Settings.
3. In the Line Text Label area, enter a text label.
4. Click Save.
Note
Your phone uses the ASCII Label field if the phone does not support
double-byte character sets.
