CAUTION
•Donotuseanyfuelwithanalcoholcontentthatexceeds10%byvolume(suchasE15andE85).
Ethanolisanalcoholthatreadilyabsorbsmoisture,causingcorrosionoffuelsystemcomponents.It
alsodamagesneopreneandotherplasticandrubbercomponents.Useofthesefuelsinthisvehicle
willvoidthewarranty.
•Toallowforexpansion,donotllhigherthan2.54cm(oneinch)fromthetopofthefueltank.Avoid
spillingfuel.
NOTE:Vehiclestobestoredforextendedperiodsshouldbepreparedforstorageasinstructed.SeePreparingthe
GasolineVehicleforExtendedStorageonpage33.
1.TurnthekeyswitchtotheOFFposition.
2.Liftandremoveseatbottom.
3.Thefueltankislocatedondriversideofvehicle.Removefuelcapandllthefueltankwithfreshunleaded
gasolineonly.SeeprecedingDANGERandCAUTION.
4.Replacefuelcapontank.Ensurethatcapistightenedsecurely.
5.Replaceseatbottom.
CLEANINGTHEVEHICLE
ClubCarPrecedentvehiclesareequippedwithhand-washablefrontandrearbodies.Useonlycommercially
availableautomotivecleanerswithaspongeorsoftclothfornormalcleaning.Agardenhoseatnormalresidential
waterpressureisadequate.
Themanufacturerdoesnotrecommendanytypeofpressurewashingorsteamcleaning.Suchaprocesswill
exposeelectricalcomponentstomoisture.Moistureenteringelectricalcomponentscanresultinwaterdamageand
subsequentcomponentfailure.
Usenon-abrasivewaxproducts.Batteryacid,fertilizers,tars,asphalt,creosote,paint,orchewinggumshouldbe
removedimmediatelytopreventpossiblestains.SeefollowingCAUTION.
CAUTION
•Useoflevelingorrubbingcompoundswillpermanentlydullnishofvehicle.
•Donotapplywaxproductstotheblackplasticmaterialofthefrontandrearunderbody,thefront
bumper,orthetexturedareaoftherearbeautypanelmarked“NOSTEP .”Waxwillcausethese
surfacestobecomediscolored.
Theseatsofthevehiclewilllastlongerwithpropercleaning.Useasolutionof10%liquidsoapandwarmwaterapplied
withasoftcloth.Forimbeddeddirt,asoftbristlebrushmaybeused.Forheavysoiling,difcultstainsorscratches,
blemishes,orotherbodydamage,seetheappropriatemaintenanceandservicemanual.
NOTE:Disposeofwastewaterproperly.
