VLAN COMMANDS
The VLAN commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the appropriate parameters) in the following

Used to creat
e a VLAN on the Switch.
Purpose

ate vlan <vlan_name 32> tag <vlanid 1-4094> {advertisement}
Syntax
This
command allows the user to create a VLAN on the Switch.
Description
Parameters
<vlan_name 32> ï€ The name of the VLAN to be created.
<vlanid 1-4094> ï€ The VLAN ID of the VLAN to be created. Allowed
values = 1-4094
advertisement ï€ Specifies that the VLAN is able to join GVRP. If
this parameter is not set, the VLAN cannot be configured to have
forbidden ports.
Each VLAN n
ame can be up to 32 characters. Up to 4094 static
VLANs may be created per configuration. Only Administrator-level
users can issue this command.
Restrictions
Example usage:
