Description Indoor Fan Motor Abnormality
Method of Error
Detection
The rotation speed detected by the Hall IC during fan motor operation is used to determine
abnormal fan motor operation.
Error Decision
Conditions
The detected rotation speed does not reach the demanded rotation speed of the target tap, and
is less than 50% of the maximum fan motor rotation speed.
Possible Root
Causes
1. Indoor fan motor winding short, or the motor lead wire broken.
2. Indoor PCB faulty.
Troubleshooting

Change fan motor.
Check fan motor connector condition
Connect correctly.

Replace the indoor unit PCB
(control PCB) and turn on power

properly?
Turn off power supply and
rotate fan by hand
Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
