1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery.
Procedure
NOTE: The status-light board includes an LED indicator for power and battery-status light/hard-drive activity light.
1. Open the latch and disconnect the status-light board cable from the system board.
2. Lift the status-light board along with the cable off the palm-rest assembly.
