Description
2.4 Intended use
The Dräger X-act 5000 is used for spot check measurements with
tubes, simultaneous Test-Sets, and sampling with sampling tubes and
systems. It is designed to draw the gas, which is to be examined or to
be sampled, through the respective tube or sampling system.
2.5 Approvals
The Dräger X-act 5000 is an air sampling pump for use in hazardous
locations. It is approved as Model GEP-0100. It is intrinsically safe
when used with one of the approved power supplies (see chap. 9 on
page 25).
The Dräger X-act 5000 complies with the FDA performance standards
for laser products, except for deviations pursuant to Laser Notice
No 50, dated June 24, 2007.
