5.3 Maintenance tasks
5.3.1 Calibrating the flow rate
The calibration will be done using a flowmeter.
1. Select "CALIBRATE FLOW" in the password-protected menu.
2. Follow the instructions on the display.
3. If necessary, set the required values using the arrow keys and
acknowledge the settings using the "OK" key.
5.3.2 Replacing the SO
3
filter
1. Remove the 2 screws and the SO
3
filter door (1).
2. Replace the SO
3
filter (2) with a new one.
3. Put the SO
3
filter door back in place and fasten the screws.
4. If necessary, enter the date of the filter change in the password-
protected menu "CHANGE SO3 FILTER".
5. If "BARCODE OPERATION AIR" is selected, the Dräger
X-act 5000 automatically tracks the amount of SO
3
. In this case,
reset the SO
3
counter in the password-protected menu.
6Storage
Store the Dräger X-act 5000 dry and free of dust. Keep from direct
sunlight or heat radiation.
NOTICE
For flow calibration, Dräger calibration tube X-act 5000
(8103651) has to be used. Observe the supplied instructions
for use 9022933.
