3 PRIMARY POWER
Primary Power – PS1
Primary power is connected to terminal Primary - PS1 – (~+VE) and (~–VE) as
indicated above.
On the standard version the supply input is universal capable of accepting 85-
264VAC 50/60 Hz or 88 to 300VDC.
As an option, which must be specied at the time of order, the primary supply can
be 19-72VDC.
A watchdog relay, WD, is tted as standard providing a volt free changeover
contact for use with 3rd party devices to indicate loss or primary power or
internal failure.
All PSU’s need to be protected with an external fuse rated at 1AT or
equivalent MCB
CAUTION
Power supplies must be fused externally with a 1AT fuse or suitable MCB.
WARNING !
Hazardous voltages may exist on the rear panel connections when
connectors are removed. Take care not to touch any exposed parts and
isolate the supply before carrying out any work
WARNING !
GPA, GPB and WD Channel repeat relays should only be connected to
customer secondary circuits separated from mains supply circuits by
means of a transformer.
For hazardous voltage above 60Vdc (SELV) isolate the supply before
carrying out any work
