5.4.4 OFFSET
For a correct calculation of the power output it is important that
the water temperature probes of the HP are aligned with each
other. If there is a misalignment between these two probes (cir-
culator active and compressor off) it is advisable to perform the
automatic alignment procedure by pressing the key
.
In addition, if the system water is mixed with additives that mod-
ify the specific heat (anti-freeze), a corrective factor must be in-
troduced in the calculation of the rendered power.
If a deviation is found between the external temperature value
detected by the HP and the actual value detected by a calibrated
measuring instrument, an offset can be applied.
