The administrator password has
been lost
o
Should you forget the administrator password,
contact your dealer or Epson Support.
Print head is automatically cleaned
o
To ensure print quality, the printer may
automatically perform head cleaning when the
printer is turned on, or before starting printing.
The printer turned off due to a
power cut
o
Turn off the printer, and then turn it back on.
When the printer is not turned off normally, the
print head may not be capped correctly. If the print
head is left uncapped for a long time, the print
quality may decline.
When you turn on the printer, capping is performed
automatically after a few minutes.
A message is displayed telling you to
update the ink levels
o
Refill all of the tanks, or only specific tanks,
select the color of the ink you refilled on the
printer screen, and then update the amount
of ink remaining.
Depending on the circumstances, this message may
be displayed even if there is ink in the tanks.
Ink spatters
o
If any ink spatter sticks to the area around
the tank, wipe it off with a lint-free cloth or
a cotton swab, etc.
o
If ink spills onto a table or the floor, etc.,
wipe it off immediately.
If the ink is left to dry, it will be hard to remove. Soak
up the ink with a dry cloth and wipe it with water so
that it is not spread around.
o
If ink gets on your hands, wash it off with
water or soap.
