2. Measurement on the body
– Place the sensor on the lightest place on the body, for example on the
inside of the upper arm, and press. Wait for the signal tone.
– Please pay attention to the announcements in the Voice Guide.
4.7.2 Time controller in automatic mode
If the appliance is operated with a time controller (e.g. coin device operation),
the minimum (minimum exposure) and maximum (maximum exposure) tan-
ning times are set to the same times as the tanning times in automatic mode
(15 to 30 minutes, default value 20 minutes) – see 'Voreinstellun-
gen/Presettings' (order no.1008953-..).
With coin device operation or control systems (Studio Pilot/Studio Manager),
the minimum tanning time is the product of the 'minimum exposure' and the
'time for money'.
Formula:
Minimum tanning time = minimum exposure × time for money
4.7.3 Operation without sensor
If the sensor remains in the base station or is placed in the base station after
the first measurement, the device will be operated in maximum mode.
DANGER!
Risk of burns and long-term damage!
Exceeding the specified tanning times may result in burns
and long-term skin damage.

– End the tanning session after the given time, even if the
device does not switch off automatically.
4.8 Start
– Closing the canopy.
– Press the START/STOP button.
Upon starting the following functions are switched on:
y UV lamps
y Facial tanner
y Shoulder tanner (optional)
y Body cooling
y Facial cooling
y Air condition/Climatronic (optional)
y Audio system (optional)
y Voice Guide (optional)
