Focus/Exposure Lock
The AF-L and AE-L Buttons
Focus and exposure can also be locked
with the AF-L and AE-L buttons. At default
settings, the AF-L button locks focus, the
AE-L button exposure.
•
While the assigned control is pressed,
pressing the shutter button halfway will
not end the lock.
•
If AE&AF ON/OFF SWITCH is selected for D BUTTON/DIAL
SETTING> AE/AF-LOCK MODE, the lock can only be ended by
pressing the control a second time.
•
The controls used for AE LOCK ONLY, AF LOCK ONLY, and AE/
AF LOCK can be chosen using D BUTTON/DIAL SETTING>
FUNCTION (Fn) SETTING (P 204, 226).
