1.2 Definitions
Split: The heat pump consists of two elements (an
outside unit for outside and a hydraulic module for
inside the dwelling).
Air/water:
The surrounding air is the energy source.
This energy is transmitted to the water in the heating
circuit by the heat pump.
Inverter:
the fan and compressor speeds are
modulated according to the heating requirements.
This technology enables you to save on energy and
operate on a single-phase power supply, whatever
the heat pump’s output, by avoiding heavy intensities
on start-up.
COP
(coefficient of performance): this is the
relationship between the energy transmitted to the
heating circuit and electrical energy consumed.
