If your computer is equipped with power management, the monitor can support this function
fully. T he monitor does not distinguish betwe en the individual pow er management modes of
the computer (standb y mode, suspend mode and OFF mode), as it is capable of i mmediately
switching into the mode with the highest energy-saving effect.

If your computer detects inac
tivity (no input) it s ends an appropriate signal to the monitor
to reduce the po wer consumpti
on (power management mode). The power indicator of
the monitor changes colour t
o indicate the s tatus change.
Once an input is made at the com
puter the screen contents are redrawn.

the operating manual or tech
nical manual of the computer.
When the monitor is switched
to the power management mode by the power
management system a power
consumption of up to 1 W is maintained to
feed the circuit for redra
wing th e screen contents.
To completely switch off t
he power consumption, switch off the monitor
with the main sw itch at the
rear.
