A 6 blink status may be caused by several things:
1. Blockedorpartiallyblockedue.
2. Blockedorpartiallyblockedinletair.
a. backdraftdamperontheinletpipemaybestuckclosed.
b. IfoutsideairisinstalledtheTerminationCapmaybe
blocked.
3.Theairchamberundertheburnpotmaybelledwithnes
andsmallbitsofash.
4. Theholesintheburnpotmaybegettinglledwithashor
carbonbuildup.
5. Combustionblowerfanbladesmayneedcleaned.
6. Thereisnofuelinthehopper.

for5hoursafterthestoveiscompletelycool.

Helpful Hints
Cleaning Burn Pot
Wheneveryourstoveisnotburning,taketheopportunityto
scrapetheburn pot to remove carbon buildup.Avacuum
cleanerishandytoremovetheresidue.Besurethestove
iscoldifyouuseavacuum.
Carbonbuildupcanbescrapedloosewiththereburning
usingthespecialtoolprovidedwithyourstove.Scrapethe
sides of the burnpot (corn grate), and the oor and sides
(pelletgrate).Thecarbonwillbepushedoutbytheincoming
fuel.Alwayswearglovestodothis.
Removing Ashes
TurntheTempDialtonumber1approximately30minutes
beforeremovingashes.Thiswillresultinacoolerstoveand
ashpan.
Maximum FeedAdjuster settings are not needed in most
cases.Operatinginthenormalrange(#2corn)(#4pellet)is
recommendedwhenmaximumheatoutputisnotrequired.

Fuel
ThePC45canburncornwithmoisturelevelsupto16%,
with14.5%orlessbeingideal.
Pelletfuelsareputinto3categoriesintermsofashcontent.
Premiumat1%orless,Standardat3%orlessandallothers
at3%ormore.
ThePC45iscapableofburningall3categoriesofpellets
duetoapatentedfeederandburnpotsystem.
It should be noted, however, that higher ash content will
require more frequent ash removal and may provide less
BTU'sperpound.Normally,standardandhighashpellets
cost less than premium pellets and can be cost effective
whenburnedinthePC45.
Themoisturecontentofpelletsmustnotexceed8%.Higher
moisturewillrobBTU'sandmaynotburnproperly.
ThePC45iscapableofburninggrainsotherthancorn,such
aswheat,oatsorbarley.Grainsvarywidelyfromareatoarea,
aswillstoveperformance.Whenburninggrainsotherthan
corn,itmaybenecessarytomakechangestothesettings
onthecircuitboardforoptimumperformance.Contactyour
