6.1 Installation – installation / suspension points
WARNING
The heavy cover can knock into you or crush your fingers!
Wear safety gloves, do not stand in the opening area of the cover when opening!
ALB.. is delivered as a complete unit as standard, i.e. ready for connection.
After the removal of packaging and the start of installation, the following points must be checked:
– is there any transport damage,
– broken or bent parts
– freewheeling of the impeller
– The unit is fastened via four L-shape installation profiles, which are connected to the unit casing. The unit can be in-
stalled in all positions permitted in Fig. 2. In case of upward outlet ducts (fan above), max. flow temperature +60 °C
possible. . In case of downward outlet ducts, no flow temperature limit. Ensure good accessibility for filter changes/re-
placement and service.
The ALB.. can be directly installed in the duct/piping. If required, the structure-borne sound transmission can be
counteracted by using vibration dampers and canvas connection pieces (see accessories).
– There is a sufficiently long, straight section of pipe (500 mm) before and after the unit to prevent performance reduc-
tion and an increase in sound.
– The casing must not be deformed or warped during installation, the ALB.. must only be installed on sufficiently solid
and stable subsurfaces with suitable fastening materials (weight specifications on the fan).
– Sufficient backflow depending on the fan used must be ensured! If applicable, observe instructions in DIN 1946-6.
When installing under suspended ceilings, there must be an inspection flap in the size of the
casing cover.
