If the engine has been bound with channel(s), switching engine working mode will unbind the
engine and channel(s), and cancel the related smart event of the channel.
3. Click Apply to save the settings.
5.2 Task Configuration
You can view the task status in task configuration. Smart analysis results are used for filtering the
pictures when searching interested human body and vehicle pictures.
Before You Start
Check Save VCA Pictures for human body detection/vehicle detection, line crossing detection,
intrusion detection, region entrance, or region exiting.
Steps
Note
The chapter is only available for certain models of iDS series.
1. Go to Smart Analysis → Smart Analysis → Task Configuration.
2. Check cameras to enable corresponding analysis mode. Ensure engine is available for the
selected analysis mode.
3. Enable auto analysis.
