● Connect the unit to ground to prevent electrical shock in the event of leakage electricity. A ground connection
must be performed according to technical speci cations for electrical appliances. A ground connection will
prevent electrical shock and interference caused by discharges of static electricity when touching the unit and
thereby eliminate interference with TV and radio reception. For details, consult your sales agent.
● Do not make a ground connection to the following objects:
(1) Water pipes
(2) Gas pipes (as there is a risk of explosion)
(3) Telephone ground connections or lightning rods (as there is a risk of high voltages entering the unit)
CAUTION
● Please use earth line.
Do not place the earth line near water or gas pipes, lightning-conductor, or the earth
line of telephone. Improper installation of earth line may cause electric shock.
● A circuit breaker should be installed depending on the mounting site of the unit. Without a circuit
breaker, the danger of electric shock exists.
IMPORTANT
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
Green-and-yellow : Earth
Blue : Neutral
Brown : Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured green-and-yellow must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol or coloured green or green-and-yellow.
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter
N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter
L or coloured red.
NOTE
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the special cord obtainable at authorized
service/parts centers.

Install a pressure-relief valve
O The water may drip from the discharge pipe of the pressure-relief valve and that this pipe must be left open to
the atmosphere.
O Do not set it up in the place when water in piping and the tank freezes.
