Disconnect the Oil Alert unit black/red lead from
the engine switch black lead. Perform the spark
test (P. 2-11 of the base shop manual).
Sparks Oil Alert unit faulty. Replace the Oil Alert unit
(P. 8-1).
Disconnect the engine stop switch black lead from
the ignition coil. Perform the spark test (P. 2-11 of
the base shop manual).
Sparks Faulty engine stop switch or stop switch lead.
Replace the engine stop switch (P. 6-8 of the
base shop manual) or stop switch lead (P. 7-1).

of the base shop manual).
