3. FLYWHEEL BRAKE LEVER / ENGINE STOP SWITCH
PKA/VKA/VLA types only:
Remove the fan cover (P. 7 -3
).
Remove the flywheel before removing the brake assembly (P. 9 - 8
).
STOP SWITCH CORD
WASHER
6 x 22 mm BOLT
ENGINE STOP SWITCH
1.8 N•m (1.3 ft-lb)
4 x 12 mm SCREW
BRAKE LEVER
SPRING
BRAKE ASSY
6 x 14 mm BOLT
INSTALLATION:
Connect to the
narrow terminal of the
engine stop switch.
INSPECTION: P. 9 - 6
INSPECTION: Check the
brake lining thickness
P. 3- 1 2
WIDE TERMINAL
(not used)
NARROW TERMINAL
(to stop switch wire)
