the
Modified
Program
To
run
the
Pythagorean
Theorem
program,
you
have
only
to
key
in
the
values
for
sides

and
b
and
press

.
The
HP-67
will
now
review
the
stack
contents,
then
square
side
b,
exchange
the
contents
of
the
X-
and
Y-registers,
and
review
the
stack
contents
again.
Finally,
the
value
for
the
hypotenuse
will
be
calculated,
the
stack
contents
will
be
reviewed
a
third
time,
and
the
calculated
value
for the
hypotenuse
will
appear
in
the
X-register
when
the
program
stops
running.
For
example,
to
compute
the
hypotenuse
of
a
right
triangle
with
sides
a and b
of
22
meters
and
9
meters:
