a
number,
press
the
B
prefix
key
followed
by
the
(fraction)
key.
For example,
to
see
the
fractional
portion
of
the
123.456
used
above:
Press
Display
0
123.46
Summons
the
original
number
back
to
the
X-register.

Only
the
fractional
portion
of
the
number
is
displayed,
rounded
here
to
FIX
2
display.
When
£}
is
pressed,
the
integer
portion
of
the
number
is
lost.
The
entire
number,
of
course,
is
preserved
in
the
LAST
X
register.
Reciprocals
To
calculate
the
reciprocal
of
a
number
in
the
displayed
X-register,
key
in
the
number,
then
press
@3
().
For
example,
to
calculate
the
reciprocal
of
25:
Press
Display
250

You
can
also
calculate
the
reciprocal
of
a
value
in
a
previous
calculation
without
reentering
the
number.
