Speaker assembly (includes cable) L62736-001
Before removing the speaker assembly, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 32).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 44).
Remove the speaker assembly:
1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1), and then remove the cable from the clip (2).
2. Remove the two broadhead Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (3) that secure the speaker to the computer.
3. Remove the speaker from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the speaker.
