Task Parameters
You can set task parameters by selecting Tools > Configuration from the Console’s menu bar to display
the Configuration Management dialog box, then expanding the Task Parameters item in the left-hand
tree pane.
The Task Parameters item consists of two sub-items: Valid Time and Timeout and Write Filter Policy
Setting. These are described in the following sections.
Valid Time and Timeout
The Valid Time and Timeout options enable you to set the duration HP Device Manager will wait for
the execution of tasks. You can also specify the start and end time of working hours during which HP
