High Adaptation to Installation Environments
l Anywhere: This product is available in indoor and outdoor types. It is compact, light, and
adaptive to various installation environments.
– Indoor type: The indoor type can be installed on a desktop, wall, and in an indoor or
outdoor cabinet, and a network box.
– Outdoor type: The outdoor type (including ATN 905A and ATN 905A-P) can be
installed on a pole or outdoor wall. It features superior water-proof and dust-proof
performance, meeting requirements of the IP65 protection level, is adaptive to
environments with different temperature and humidity ranges, and provides the
lightning-protection function.
l PoE: Outdoor ATN 905A-P supports power over Ethernet (PoE) so it can provide power
supply over an electrical Ethernet port to other equipment, such as a small-cell base station
or radio equipment on the same pole. Compared with transmitting power over traditional
power cables, transmitting power over Ethernet cables requires less space, saves costs,
contributes to environmental protection, and brings more enhanced applications (such as,
radio equipment can help to backhaul user-side services to the network side).
Easy Deployment
l Plug-and-play: Plug-and-play enables NEs to automatically go online and implements
service provisioning in batches and remote commissioning in a centralized manner, thereby
improving the maintenance efficiency and reducing costs.
l Tests without requiring meters at sites: A test packet generator and analyzer are built in
complying with RFC 2544 so that no extra test tools are required for service deployment.
Powerful Maintenance Capabilities
l Effective fault sectionalization:
– Supports offline fault sectionalization complying with RFC 2544 and online fault
sectionalization using IP forward performance monitoring (FPM).
– Supports 802.1Q in 802.1Q (QinQ) for separating user VLANs and carrier VLANs,
facilitating fault sectionalization.
l Quick fault diagnosis:
– Supports end to end (E2E) and point to point (P2P) fault diagnosis complying with IEEE
802.3ah, IEEE 802.1ag, and ITU-T Y.1731.
– Supports dying gasp so that equipment reports an alarm when experiencing power
outage.
l Real-time performance management: supports periodical tests and statistics on E2E service
performance including the throughput, delay, and packet loss rate, and service level
agreement (SLA) compliance reports.
Visualized NMS GUI
The U2000 provides visualized graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for real-time topology
management, fault management, performance management, log management, security and user
