4.4 Cables
This chapter describes various optical fibers and cables used on the equipment.
NOTE
Use the cables delivered with outdoor ATN 905 devices because these cables meet outdoor environment
requirements and match the cable apertures on the devices.
4.4.1 AC Power Cables and Ground Cables
AC power cables are used to provide external power supplies for the ATN 905 device while the
PGND cable is used to ground the ATN 905 device.
Outdoor AC Power Cables
Outdoor AC power cables are used to provide external power supplies for the ATN 905 device
and the PE cable is used to ground the ATN 905 device.
Figure 4-9 shows the appearance of the AC power cable used for an outdoor ATN 905 device
and Table 4-26 lists the technical specifications of the AC power cable.
