Outdoor Optical Fibers
Outdoor ATN 905 devices must use outdoor optical fibers when installed outdoors. Figure
4-17 shows the appearance of an outdoor optical fiber.

Outdoor optical fibers used by ATN 905 devices are multi-mode optical fibers that use DLC/
PC connectors at both ends.
NOTE
DLC is short for Duplex LC.
