45 Why is the distance count on my Band inaccurate? (For Huawei
Knowledge Base only)
The distance is calculated using the user's height, gender, weight, age, and activity
data from the motion sensor. In order to prevent inaccurate distance readings, users
should input their personal metrics (gender, height, weight and age) when they first
use their Band.
The Band does not have a GPS and calculates distance traveled using an algorithm.
This can lead to small data inaccuracies. It is recommended that you use the Huawei
Wear app on your phone to record more accurate and detailed activity data.
46 How do I update the Band and Huawei Wear app?
Before updating, please ensure that your Band and phone have a working Bluetooth
connection.
Updating your Band: in the Huawei Wear app, touch the settings icon in the top-left
corner, and then touch Update HUAWEI Band. The Band will check for the latest
software version and perform an update.
Update Huawei Wear: In the Huawei Wear app, touch the little person icon in the
top-right corner and then select About > App update. When the screen displays
Updating..., your phone will check for and apply any updates.
