62 How can I prevent the screen from being scratched or scuffed?
The Bands have all passed rigorous anti-scratch and anti-abrasion tests and are fitted
with a screen protector by default. Please do not place your band in close contact with
metal objects such as keys that might scratch the screen.
63 What should I do if the screen is blank, has vertical or horizontal
lines, or if the Band freezes or fails to start up? (For Huawei
Knowledge Base only)
1. Check that the charger is functioning properly.
2. Connect to charger and charge for 1.5 hours.
3. Use a SIM eject pin or ballpoint pen to press down the pinhole reset button (hold
down for 10s and then release). Do not use needles or other sharp objects as these
may damage the button.
4. Ensure you have the latest version of firmware.
Note for hotline staff: If the Band still does not function after trying the above,
please take your band to ASC for repair.
64 The Band's vibration intensity is weak. Why? (For Huawei
Knowledge Base only)
Vibration intensity is a subjective measure. We welcome feedback from users and
will release improvements where necessary in later updates.
65 When using an Android phone, why does my Band not display
message notifications during the night?
Open the Huawei Wear app and select Settings > Push Messages. The default
notification period is from 8:00 to 22:00. This means that you will not receive
message notifications after 22:00. You can change these times if needed.
