3.1 How do I save battery power?

When you are not using the phone, press the power key to turn off the screen.

Set the screen timeout period to a small value. To do so, go to Settings. Under DEVICE,
touch Display. On the displayed screen, touch Sleep and select a small value.

Lower the screen brightness. To do so, go to Settings. Under DEVICE, touch Display.
On the displayed screen, touch Brightness. Then, drag the slider to adjust the screen
brightness.

Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when you do not need to use them. To do so, go to
Settings. Under WIRELESS & NETWORKS, turn off Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Turn off data synchronization. To do so, go to Settings. Under ACCOUNTS, touch an
existing account. On the displayed screen, touch the account again and turn off Accounts
& sync for the account.

Turn off the data service. To do so, go to Settings. Under WIRELESS & NETWORKS,
touch Mobile networks. Then deselect Data roaming.

Turn off GPS. To do so, go to Settings. On the All tab, touch Location access and
deselect GPS satellites.
3.2 How do I reduce my mobile's data usage?

Turn off the data service when you do not need it or your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi
network. To turn off the data service, go to Settings. Under WIRELESS &
NETWORKS, touch Mobile networks. Then deselect Data roaming.

Access Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) sites instead of World Wide Web (WWW)
websites.

Turn off data synchronization. To do so, go to Settings. Under ACCOUNTS, touch an
existing account. On the displayed screen, touch the account again and turn off Accounts
& sync for the account.
