VOX function (continued) ■
D Turning the VOX function ON or OFF
The VOX function can be turned ON or OFF when turning the trans-
ceiver power ON.
Rotate [VOL] to turn OFF the q
transceiver power.
Set [ROTARY SELECTOR] to w
any channel other than Chan-
nel 16.
While holding down [Upper], e
turn ON the transceiver power
to switch the VOX function ON
or OFF.
•1 beep sounds when the VOX
function is turned OFF.
•2 beeps sound when the VOX
function is turned ON.
NOTE: This operation may not be available, depending on the
preprogramming. Ask your dealer for details.
