4.5 The SmartLAN board
The SmartLAN board connects to any Ethernet network and allows remote access (via Internet) to the
fire control system (allows connection to all the fire control panels in the token-ring network). This
board can send detailed e-mails for each event, and by means of TCP/IP protocols, can send real-time
event reports.
This board also allows remote upload/download operations and provides a web server for web based
access to the system.
To enter in the SmartLAN board configuration, the default IP address is: 192.168.1.92

4.5.1 The SmartLAN board components
1. Flat cable board to motherboard connector
2. Microprocessor Reset button
3. Jumper for factory use only - DO NOT TOUCH
4. SD Memory card connector (can be used for storing pictures for e-mail attachment - maps, etc.)
5. USB1 port status LED
6. USB port
7. Ethernet port
8. Power supply LED
9. Motherboard communication LED
10.Activity LED (indicates data transmission via Ethernet)
11.RS232 port for remote printer
