A machine identification plate (1) listing the model
number (2) and serial number (3) is attached to the rear
frame of the mower near the steering yoke. Always
provide the serial number of the machine when ordering
replacement parts or requesting service information.
Engine Serial Number—(Diesel
Models)
See Figure 2-3.

The engine serial number (1) is attached to the top of the
rocker arm cover. The plate also includes the engine
model number and the engine code number. An engine
data tag (2) attached to the top of the rocker arm cover.
The tag includes information on valve adjustment
specifications, injector timing, engine idle speed, and
engine displacement.
