Using Emergency Alert
You can activate Emergency Alert and check Alert
Message log.
Activating Emergency Alert
On the source control screen:
Emergency Alert is activated, and the EA indicator
lights up as follows.
• White: When the current station supports
Emergency Alert.
• Orange: When Emergency Alert is not available.
• Red: When Emergency Alert is received or snoozed.
To deactivate, touch [Emergency Alert] again.

When an alert message is received:
The following alert message screen appears.
05:00PM / Category Name / Call Sign
Snooze
Ignore
(Message)
After checking the message, touch [Snooze] or
[Ignore].
[Snooze] The same alert message does not
interrupt again for 10 minutes.
[Ignore] The same alert message does not
interrupt again for next 12 hours.
The alert message screen goes off.
Checking Alert Message Log
You can confirm the details of the alert messages
received.
1 Display the <Alert Message Log> screen.
On the source control screen:
2 Select the emergency alert message to
confirm.
• Touch [ < ] scrolls the text if not all of the text is
shown.
• For list screen operations, see also page 13.

The selected message is displayed. Touch [Close]
