Sweeping operation
Lower main brush
Lower side brush
! Press pedal and raise step
Note:
Open the coarse-dirt flap before
sweeping in larger objects up to
45 mm.
Machine shut-down
! Adjust "parking brake" operating
mode
! Raise the sweep roller
! Raise the side broom
! Set the gas presetting to "turtle"
Shut-off the engine
Clean-down the filter
! Open unit cover
! Rotate the rotating handle of the
filter de-duster in the direction of
the arrow
Empty the swept material
container
! De-dust the filter first, and wait
briefly until the dust has settled
before opening and emptying the
debris container.
! Pull out debris container.
! Empty the swept material
container.
! Slide in and lock the debris
container.
! Afterwards, proceed exactly the
same way with the opposing debris
container
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Safety precautions when sweeping
♦ Never sweep up packing straps,
wires or the like as this could
damage the sweeping mechanism.
♦ Pieces up to 45 mm high can be
swept in, deposit larger objects
directly in the debris container.
Sweep dry or damp floor
♦ For optimum cleaning effect, match
the driving speed to suit the actual
conditions.
♦ Regularly clean-down the filter and
empty the swept material container
during operation.
♦ Lower the sweeping roller for
surface sweeping
♦ Lower the side broom for cleaning
side edges
Driving over obstructions
Obstacles up to a height of 45 mm
Slowly and carefully drive over them
in the forward direction.
Obstacles above a height of 45 mm
Lift unit or drive it over a ramp.
DISCONTINUATION OF USAGE
♦ Please observe the following points
when the machine will not be used
for a lengthy period.
! Stand sweeper on a flat surface.
! Remove the ignition key
! Adjust "parking brake" operating
mode.
! Raise the side broom.
! Raise the sweep roller.
! Secure sweeper to stop it rolling
away.
! Fill fuel tank.
! Unscrew spark plug.
! pour approx. 3 cm³ oil in the spark
plug hole and turn the flywheel
several times without a spark plug.
! Screw in the spark plug again.
! Clean inside and outside of
sweeper
! Turn off the machine on a protected
and dry place.
! Charge batteries at intervals of
approx. two months
TRANSPORTATION
Instructions for transportation
The machine must be secured
against displacement during
transportation.
! Adjust "parking brake" operating
mode.
! Secure the machine with stretch
belts or ropes.
! Secure the machine with wedges
on the wheels.
