setup functions and attribute
The functions and attribute in this group are used to save/recall setups and to set the power-on setup.
Attribute The saved setup to recall when the unit is turned on.
Usage n = setup.poweron -- Reads the power-on setup.
setup.poweron = n -- Writes the power-on setup.
n -- Setup number to recall on power up (0 to 5).
Remarks For an n setting of 0, the unit powers up to the factory default (reset) setup. For an
n setting of 1 to 5, the unit powers up to a user saved setup.

Example Sets unit to power on to the factory defaults:
setup.poweron = 0
Function Recalls settings from a saved setup.
Usage setup.recall(n)
n Setup number to recall (0 to 5).
Remarks For an n setting of 0, the unit recalls the factory default (reset) setup. For an n setting
of
1 to 5, the unit recalls a user saved setup.

Example Recalls the user-setup at location 2:
setup.recall(2)
Function Saves the present setup as a user-setup.
Usage setup.save(n)
n Setup number to save (1 to 5).
Remarks Numbers 1 through 5 are used to designate user-setup locations. When you save
at one of these locations, the previous setup at that location is overwritten.

Example Saves the present setup at location 5:
setup.save(5)
smuX functions and attributes
The functions and attributes in this group are used to control basic source-measure operations of
the SMUs and perform calibration.
Remarks This function will write the given string to the serial port where it can be read by equipment
(e.g., component handler) connected to the other end of the serial port. No terminator
characters are added to the data. The data will be written exactly as is.
Also see serial.read
Example Writes data string “1 2 3 4” to the serial port:
serial.write("1 2 3 4")
setup.poweron

smuX.cal.adjustdate
X= SMU channel (a or b)
(Models 2635 and 2636 only)
Attribute Adjustment date of the last calibration adjustment
