Driving under the influence
Do not drive whilst under the influ

ence of alcohol, drugs, or other
impairing substances. Drinking and
driving is dangerous. Even a small
amount of alcohol will affect your
reflexes, perceptions and judgment.
Driving whilst under the influence of
drugs or other impairing substances
is as dangerous as or more danger
-
ous than driving drunk.
Proper footwear
Always wear appropriate shoes
when operating your vehicle.
Unsuitable shoes (high heels, ski
boots, sandals, etc.) may interfere
with your ability to use the brake
and accelerator pedals.
Key positions (if equipped)
Your vehicle is equipped with four
different ignition positions.
Illuminated ignition switch (if
equipped)
Whenever a front door is opened,
the ignition switch will illuminate for
your convenience, provided the igni
-
tion switch is not in the ON position.
The light will go off immediately
when the ignition switch is turned
on. It will also go off after about 30
seconds when the door is closed.
