CHECKING AND ADDING FUEL (C)
Make sure to use pure and high-
quality diesel unleaded fuel.
(1) Fuel Tank Cap
1. Turn the key switch to "ON", check
fuel level or fuel gauge.
2. If the needle on the fuel gauge is
near to the red zone ("E") or the
fuel level is low, open the fuel tank
ller cap and add more fuel.
3. After adding fuel, close the fuel
tank cap.

26 L (6.9 U.S.gal.)
To avoid personal injury:
Do not smoke while refueling.
Add the fuel in a well-ventilat-
ed area.
Be sure to stop the engine be-
fore refueling.
Dirt or sand contaminate in
fuel may cause the fuel injec-
tion pump to malfunction, use
the strainer when refuelling.

Do not permit dirt or trash to
get into the fuel system.
Be careful not to let the fuel
tank become empty, otherwise
air will enter the fuel system,
necessitating bleeding before
next engine start.
Be careful not to spill fuel dur-
ing refueling should it spill,
wipe it "OFF" at once, or it
may cause a re.
To prevent condensation (wa-
ter) accumulation in the fuel
tank, ll the tank before park-
ing overnight.
If it is not used for a long time,
make sure the fuel viscosity is
suitable for the cold weather.
