12.5 STOPPING (BRAKING)
WARNING
● Avoid stopping suddenly. Allow ample room when stopping.
● Avoid parking the machine on slopes.
If it is necessary to park the machine on a slope, apply the parking brake, put blocks under the tracks,
and dig the work equipment into the ground to prevent the machine from moving.
1. First, use the engine speed control switch or right control lever (2) to reduce the engine speed, then use the
braking force of the engine.
2. Return left control lever (1) to the neutral position.
3. Press the push button switch on top of left control lever (1) to apply the brake.
4. Set the starting switch to the PARKING position to apply the parking brake.
