3. When the engine starts, release the key in starting
switch(2). The key will return automatically to the ON
position.
STARTING IN COLD WEATHER
When starting in low temperatures, do as follows.
WARNING
Never use starting aid fluids as they may cause explo-
sions.
NOTICE
Do not keep the starting motor rotating continuously for
more than 20 seconds.
If the engine fails to start, repeat steps 2 and 3 after waiting
for about 2 minutes.
