STARTING ENGINE
NORMAL STARTING
WARNING
● Check that there are no persons or obstacles in the
surrounding area, then sound the horn and start the
engine.
● Never use starting aid fluids as they may cause explo-
sions.
NOTICE
Do not keep the starting motor rotating continuously for
more than 20 seconds.
If the engine will not start, wait for at least 2 minutes
before trying to start the engine again.
1. Pull fuel control lever(1) to a position midway between
the low idling and full speed positions.
2. Insert the key into starting switch(2) and turn the key to
the START position. The engine will start.
