METHOD FOR CHANGE OIL IN SWING MACHINERY CASE
WARNING
Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot, and may cause burn injury.
Accordingly, wait until they have cooled down before starting the work.
Refill capacity: 14 ℓ
Items to be prepared
Container to receive drained oil
1.
Remove cover (A) of the inspection hole.
(only demolition specification machines)
2.
Place a container under drain plug (P) on the underside of
the machine to receive the oil.
3.
Loosen drain valve (P) under the machine, drain the oil,
then tighten the drain valve again.
• When draining the oil, take hose (2) out of inspection
hole (B), then open the drain valve.
• Check if the base of hose (2) is bent. If it is bent, the
oil may not flow out easily.
REMARK
• If the oil becomes thin thread condition, there is no
problem in stopping the draining operation.
• To reduce the oil draining time, swing the upper struc-
ture to slightly increase the temperature of the machi-
nery oil, then drain the oil. However, never swing the
upper structure while draining the oil. This may cause
breakage of the swing machinery.
4.
Remove dipstick (G) and air bleeding plug (1).
5.
Add oil through the pipe for dipstick (G) by the refill capaci-
ty.
6.
Check the oil level. For the procedure, see “METHOD FOR
CHECKING OIL LEVEL IN SWING MACHINERY CASE,
ADDING OIL (4-56)”.
7.
Install air bleeding plug (1).
