13.1 Removing the front wheel x
Preparatory work
– Raise the motorcycle with the rear wheel stand. ( p. 74)
– Raise the motorcycle with the front wheel stand. ( p. 75)

Loosen screw
and screws

Unscrew screw
about six turns and press your hand on the screw to push the
wheel spindle out of the axle clamp. Remove screw
.
Warning
Danger of accidents Reduced braking effect caused by damaged brake
discs.
– Always lay the wheel down in such a way that the brake discs are not
damaged.
– Holding the front wheel, withdraw the wheel spindle. Take the front wheel out of the
fork.

Do not pull the hand brake lever when the front wheel is removed.
