11.40 Checking the frame

– Check the frame for cracks and deformation.
» If the frame exhibits cracks or deformation due to a
mechanical impact:
– Change the frame.

Always replace a frame that has been dam-
aged due to a mechanical impact. Repair of the
frame is not authorized by KTM.
11.41 Checking the link fork

– Check the link fork for damage, cracking, and deformation.
» If the link fork exhibits damage, cracking, or deformation:
– Change the link fork.
Info
Always replace a damaged link fork. Repair-
ing the link fork is not authorized by Husqvarna
Motorcycles.
11.42 Checking the throttle cable routing
Preparatory work
– Remove the seat. ( p. 67)
– Remove the fuel tank. ( p. 75)

Main work
– Check the throttle cable routing.
Both throttle cables must be routed, side by side, on the
back of the handlebars and above the fuel tank bracket, to
the throttle valve body. Both throttle cables must be secured
behind the rubber strap of the fuel tank support.
» If the throttle cable is not routed as specified:
– Correct the throttle cable routing.
Finishing work
– Install the fuel tank. ( p. 77)
